another VIN question....81-87
the 9th digit is a "2" instead of a letter that would signify the year of production.
never came across this before... all the other ones that I have decoded have been letters B,C,D,E,F,G, etc.... any one have some info on this?

Re: another VIN question....81-87
10th digit is for the year, i.e. J=8, H=7, G=6,etc, 9th is a "check digit" thus the "2"
