someone in lower alabama to recommend....
someone that can replace rockers,cabcorners,and A-pillars. I have no welder or time to devote to it myself anyone have a recommendation? I called stripmaster in milton fl 6months booked.

I had some cousins(by marriage) that owned Cooks Auto Body in Pace or Milton. Fl. I can see if they are still there.

Biggest issue is that most body shops are into production work, not restoration stuff. If they said 6-months, it'll probably take longer. I took my truck in for floor pans, kick panels and rockers. It sat in the same place for about three months before it was moved inside and the work done over one weekend.

I agree
Yeah we are booked up at least seven vehicles. Production is where we have to make money to stay in business. We try to fit the smaller jobs (money Makers) into the restorations schedule. Not as many people out there wanting restorations as may seem. Its hard to get people to switch also. I keep reminding some of the guys we are not doing a production job. Its hard for a customer to wonder why we do not work constantly on his. |

Call Crutchfield Creations and talk to Todd (623-2277). He's the one that painted my 48 and is doing the bodywork and paint on my 69 Suburban.
