suspension

Looking for some feedback on which air bag system you guys recommend. Looking to do a 4 link in back/upper and lower a-arms with bags in front. I been looking at the ART system and the Airbagit.com system. Any help would be great. My ride is a 72 fleet with a 67 front clip. thanks

Re: suspension

No need for a four link use the stock rear suspenson and add air bags to it, the front you can buy plates that bolt in to mount the bags really the only mod is a c-notch in the back the rest bolts in get a hold of FBI (Fender Bender Intl.) there local here in sacramento but they mail order world wide. Im not really a fan of airbagit.com's stuff
Here is a link

Wow. I think this is the cheapest full setup I've seen! http://www.fbirides.com/product.asp?idno=264842 Wonder how good the stuff is?

Re: suspension

This shop is local to me and I have seen it grow from a small shop in the back of a commercial strip mall to small but known shop to a large company selling country wide and a much larger shop, I used to do business with them when I had a small shop and one of my good friends worked there when they first started and actually does business with them now as a fab shop owner himself. There products are good expecially basic kits like this, there in expensive because they don't come with a four link or any special brackets, you get bags and basic universal brackets ,switches, air line, valves etc. this kit may come with a special c-notch for these trucks, you can call they'll be helpful with giving you all the info you need, trucks like ours don't require as much info as most leaf springs trucks since we already have coils.

The only thing I'm not a big fan of on there kits is the use of compression style fittings instead of push lock fittings, The all brass push locks have had the least problems with leaks from anything I have used and are re usable they cost a lot more but you get what you pay for.

I'm using a kit from them similar to this on a caddilac I'm putting air ride on without the c notches and rear plates, but we added a digital gauge that has sending units for each bag and the tank
