14BFF Bath
Would it hurt if I totally stripped down my 14BFF and had it acid dipped?
To clean all the grime on the inside and paint-layers on the outside. When I bought my '72 Blazer 18 months ago the 14B came with it and the previous owner said the rig's been sitting for a couple of years. So I don't know what the condition it's in so I figured I'd start from scratch and totally rebuild it. Any and all opinions, advise, etc. is welcome. Thanks !! Re: 14BFF Bath
I don't see why you need to acid wash it. You should stick it in a hot tank. But if you acid wash it... it won't hurt it.

That's actually what I meant! I thought a hot tank was acid. Would a radiator shop have one big enough and do it for me? |

Re: 14BFF Bath
I'm not sure, but a specialized engine shop might. Start making some phone calls.
