headlight connection

Ok so we are finishing up my son's blazer and are having a problem with the headlight connections. They don't seem to want to stay connected does anybody have a solution? Thanks for your help.

Re: headlight conection

Be more specific about the year please. Are you using the factory headlight harness? The plugs should stay pretty tight.

Re: headlight conection

It is a 1975 and it is the factory harness. When I parked the blazer 6 years ago it was like this. The are not tight at all they will simply fall off.

Re: headlight conection

That's odd. Look at the connectors. I can't remember if the locking tab is exposed or on the inside. With a metal pick you should be able to pull the tabs out of the connectors. With the contact tab out you can spread them to apply more tension.

I think the entire connectors can be bought new if that doesn't help.
