I bought blazestar's '70 2wd
I just got it off the tow dolly. This is the first time I've posted on the blazer board. Always wanted a 4wd, but in the past few years the 2wd have caught my eye. I know "where's the pics", sorry, I dropped my camara and jammed lense. I spent all my money. I'll have to get a new one. It's the blue one that was on the for sale section that had the dented quarter. This thing is really clean under neath. I'm very happy, thanks Dave.

Re: I bought blazestar's '70 2wd
Thanks, I'm not really sure yet. I'm going to do a 3/5 drop eight away. I V8 and auto swap sometime in the future.

I think you got a great deal and I would have been all over that one if I did not already have my 70 2WD sitting waiting for it's turn to get chopped! Kevin LFD Inc. |

Re: I bought blazestar's '70 2wd
Thanks for all the compliments. I'm really happy about this blazer. I was a little worried about going to get it because I've never hauled a trailer before. We use a tow dolly, it was 700 miles down and back. Had no problems at all. I love road trips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarver is 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Sarver is Home to Lernerville Racetrack, the World of Outlaws run here.

Re: I bought blazestar's '70 2wd
Burnsman lives up that way, thought that's where sarver mite be
Yeah, we got grand view and williams grove. Last time we went we sat in the corners(big mistake) My son looks at me and says"only a motor head would pay 30.00 to have mud thrown at him all night" Once the field gets spread out, it's like a vortex rising from the track, awesome Good luck on your project, hurry up and buy a camera Looks like you were in the Corps a wee bit after me LOL

Re: I bought blazestar's '70 2wd
on the Blazer from one of Blazester's fellow Georgians. As others have said, that truck is a nice place to start.
As for the racin' deal, it's mostly late models down south, but the WoO, along with the All Star series and regional sprint cars, aren't strangers to these parts. In the Peach State, the majority of their running has been at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga., which is not far from where you picked up the Blazer, Rome Speedway in north Georgia and Golden Isles Speedway on the southern coast. Love those guys -- and gals, too! I saw Sarah Fisher competing at Dixie and Rome back when she was running with the All Stars. It was amazing to watch that cute little woman (she was barely 19 at the time and looked even younger) wrangling her not-so-little 700HP winged monster around in the dirt. Enjoy your new toy!
