Re: So does any one wish they did not sell
When I turned 15 my first vehicle was an 84 1/2 ton 2wd Silverado. I sold it when I was 17 and 2 weeks after it was gone, I was kicking myself for it...it took me 8 years to find another one like it(original went to the big junkyard in the sky). I've had the 84 Silverado I have now for 2 years and you'd have a gunfight on your hands if you tried to take it from me. Like I told my bro-in-law, "noone drives this truck but me, I'd give up my first born before I'd let anyone take this truck out for a spin, this truck means more to me than some people's lives."

Re: So does any one wish they did not sell
When I was like 13, my dad had an 81 that he promised would be mine, but he didn't have the space to keep it around till I was old enough. It needed alot of work, but I grew up in that truck.
I saw it 3 years later when I got my first car, and the kid had put a beat up 305 in it, and lifted it like 5 inches on stock wheels and tires. It was a 2wd too. A darn shame... |

Re: So does any one wish they did not sell
This is the only "real" regret. Just like the first one, I tried to buy back with no luck. It now sits at a garage a few miles away.

Re: So does any one wish they did not sell
an '84 GMC Sierra Classic that i sold in 1991. Wish i hadnt sold it, but ------- i needed the money more than the truck at the time, so sometimes hard decisions have to be made.
Most of the money from the sale went to pay for the taxes and tag for a 91 Z28 i bought that year. Funny how 17 years later i miss the truck more than the Z -- trucks are funny that way

Re: So does any one wish they did not sell
I regret selling my black 1970 GTO Judge. It had a Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst shifter, 455, positrac, factory Ram Air IV. I had it for 13 years. I gave $1,100.00 for it in 1973. I sold it for what I gave for it. It would pull the front wheels off the ground and everything. Would probably be worth about 50k now. Sucks.
