Re: New years resolutions.....

1) Get a lingering tax problem resolved

2) the ever popular weight loss goal

3) build a small storage shed for my backyard

4)finish a few things around my house that i need done

5) Reduce my consumption of beer from the current "oh my lord, i'm drowning!" level to a more manageable "happiness is a righteous wave and a cool buzz" level

6) Be nicer and more sensitive to my wife's needs

7) Make some real progress on the '69 GMC project thats been languishing in my garage for a few years

8. last,( but certainly not least) continue my education in my chosen profession in an attempt to move closer to being a master of my domain. Without the job, very little else is possible.

Thats it, check back next year to see how we all did

Re: New years resolutions.....

New Years resolutions....

1. To enjoy life with my wife and my family.

2. To accomplish something on my truck.... it doesn't matter what it is, as long as it is progress.

3. To finish somemore home remodeling projects.

4. To get into better shape.

Re: New years resolutions.....

No use for me to make New Years resolutions. They usually dont get carried out or fall by the way side and are forgotten. So this year Im just gonna keep doing what I have been doing and take it one day at a time.

Re: New years resolutions.....

I resolve to keep living. I like it.

Remain semi-retired, if the money will let me.

Continue working on the vacant lot.

Oh, finish my truck, but it ain't all up to me. Oh yeah, pay the guy who's working on it. It's all good, though.

Eat. I like it, too.

Have a couple of beers before next New Year's Eve....sometime during the year....like when it's really hot outside and I'm sweating and just finished the lawn....stuff like that.

Oh, I resolve to NOT have another stroke....they're NO fun at all. Mark "Have a stroke" off of your "Bucket List" of things to do before you die, aka "Kick the bucket"....but remember that a stroke can kill you. Trust me on this one.

Finally, I resolve to have fun. Life is too serious to not have a little fun along the way. It'll go a long ways toward your happiness. After all of the pain and disappointment in life, you die. Try to enjoy it, a little bit, every day. Find something, anything, and SMILE about it!!!

If your serious about the smoking thing pm me I just quit 2 months ago 2 packs a day to nothing and not one withdrawel, good luck with it. It was hands down one of the greatest things to happen in my life. And good luck with the other stuff also.

My resolution are to get the 97 complete and on the road again and get the 68 in the garage and torn down maybe by the end of the year have the porterbuilt crossmember installed maybe big maybe but its that time of year to set the bar high, buy a house another long shot expecially with the california prices but hey markets down right now so if I have a shot its this year, finish staightening out my fianances and paying debts got close to paying off all the debt last year but I hope to finish this year

Good luck to all of you and your resolutions, and lets have a great 08'
