Modified Mr Gasket universal shifter. Shifter bolted directly to trans with a rod linkage...

B&M... Not real fancy but it works good with the 700-R4 auto. It has the reverse lock on it and it was cheap. I want a new console and get a factory floor shifter out of a GM car at some point.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Need pics of auto trans floor shifters

I'm wanting to go "one-off" in my choice of shifters, to go with my style of truck. Seeing Norm Grabowski (Kookie and Kookie II) with the skull knob on the top of the stick, is what excites me. It means that the shifter has to be long enough for the knob to be visible through the windshield. With black paint, flames, etc., it'll just go with the style I want to have.

I'm thinking Gennie, for one. But my Lokar catalog is getting a lot of frayed edges, too.
