Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
I have had my truck for 4 years and am just starting to work on it. My parents bought the truck for me as a high school graduation present. I hope to have it done by mid spring. When it is done it will have front disc brakes, ECE drop components, headers, 2.5" dual exhaust, and rear gas tank. I am going to try and do most of the work myself and I am only 22. Here are a few pictures so far.

Re: Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
I bought a replacement passenger door a little over a month ago at one of our regional meets. The one that was on my truck is beyond what I want to do for repairs. Thanks to Ackattack, another member on here, for the door. I bought a set of ralley wheels this weekend for $200. They are in great condition with just a few scratches on the trim rings.

Re: Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
A few updates on my build. I got my drop kit from ECE a couple weeks ago and started tearing apart my front suspension and installing the new brake booster, master cylinder, and proportioning valve. Also started working on the drip rail to get rid of the rust there.

Re: Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
I'm just about finished with the front suspension and brakes. I will post some pics of it tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance.

Re: Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
I am on vacation this week so I should be able to get a lot done on the truck. The front suspension is all back together. I started tearing apart the rear this morning and will post some pics soon.

Re: Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
A couple of my buddies came over yesterday and helped me pull the bed off so I could get to a few things on the rear suspension a little better and also touch up the frame. All of the suspension is now done with a 3.5/5 drop from Early Classic. I also started filling in the drip rail yesterday.

Re: Chevguy7's C10 Winter Build
Builds always seem to take longer than you think they will. I have not had any updates in a while so here are a few. The suspension is completedly done and I was able to drive it out of the garage last week. My primer came last week and the the base and clear came today. Paint should be this weekend. Here are some pictures.
