1972 Suburban Parts

I've got an accumulation of suburban parts that I won't be needing.

Front crossmember, stripped, powdercoated gloss black, not sure if it will ship via UPS or not. $25.00

Rear coils, stock height, like brand new. $50.00 for the pair.

Front coils, stock height, big block, like brand new. $50.00 for the pair.

Stock spindles 3/4 ton, powdercoated black, not new, origional stock. $20.00 for the pair.

Complete set of lower trim, black, with all clips, brand new in box. $275.00.

All parts will ship from South Houston, Texas 77587.

I accept paypal.

I'll try to post pictures tonight, I had some free time here at work so I decided to post the ad.

Re: 1972 Suburban Parts

The mouldings were bought new 3 years ago from Outback Truck Parts in Magnolia Texas. They are still in plastic sleeving and labeled. Some of the front pieces are interchangeable with a fleetside truck and are labeled fleetside. It is the rear half which is different, these are labeled suburban. As soon as I can find the cable for this camera, I will upload the pictures.

This is a half ton Suburban, and I bought half ton front end parts for it, when I went to install them, the spindles turned out to be 3/4 ton, the 1/2 ton tie rods basically fell into the tapered holes in the spindles. To make a short story long, the spindles are the only 3/4 ton part on this suburban besides the tie rod ends which are being used with dropped spindles on the truck.

Re: 1972 Suburban Parts

Do you know if the 3/4 ton spindles would fit a '71 3/4 ton 2wd truck?

Re: 1972 Suburban Parts

I don't see why they wouldn't. As long as the ball joints and tie rods you're running now are true 3/4 ton.

Re: 1972 Suburban Parts

could you check the threads on the spindles where the caliper bolts up and make sure they are good? Do you take P.O.M.O.?

big block springs are going to be heavier and stiffer than a small block spring. For example, your half ton with a small block may sit a little higher and ride a little rougher with bb springs under it.
