Arrow TA lowering block measurements...??

I can't get to my truck right now.

Can someone give me accurate measurements of those trailing arm lowering blocks?

I want to make some at work since I'm broke. That way I can just have some ubolts made.

Thanks in advance.

Re: TA lowering block measurements...??

What I meant was, what is the length and width sizes, and exact bolt-hole location..?

Sorry I wasn't clear. I plan to make some out of 3/4" and 1" steel bars. i can stack them for desired drop.

Re: TA lowering block measurements...??

I'm getting ubolts made at a local spring place. I don't have a cost yet. I wll let you know though, in case you'd like me to get you a pair and mail them to you.

Can anyone measure their blocks and give me the length and width, and the bolt hole locations???? Please

I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: TA lowering block measurements...??

When I made mine I just went about 6" long and 3" wide. Then you know that the U-Bolts are for a 3" axle tube so you should be able to figure out where to put the holes.

Re: TA lowering block measurements...??

Check this FAQ out : http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=196457

When I made mine, i used the 2"x2"x1/4" steel tube as previously mentioned in the above write up. I made each block 7" long, drilled the holes at 4 1/4" apart on center (the u-bolts are 5" across and made out of 3/4" stock) and drilled the holes with a 13/16" drill bit.

I then had my new u-bolts made 11" long - factory ones are 8 1/2" long - by these guys : http://www.bettsspring.com/contact.htm . The pair cost me $30.00 with new nuts included ( this was an over the counter price but they do ship ).

Hope this helps,
Pete
