Quick wheel fitment ? 20x8.5's
Just checking with the experts first to see if these wheels will work on my '67 fleetside. Truck will have BB, 2.5 spindles, 2" drop springs and 6" rear drop. Truck is 5 lug with front disc brakes.
Wheel specs: 5x127 lug pattern 20x8.5 Offset +15 ( I measured 5 1/2") C.B. 87.1 (????? I don't know what CB is) Here's a terrible photo from my cell. Not my rim of choice, but they're brand new chrome alloys and my buddy is practically giving them to me. Anybody see any probs with backspacing or anything else with my mentioned trucks suspension and these wheels?????? Last edited by chevychase; 01-05-2008 at 08:09 PM. |

There was a guy at the Midwest All Truck Nationals that had 20" X 8" rims on his 71 and he had 245/45/R20 tires on it. The truck was lowered to where the fenders just cleared the top of the tires by about 2". It looked good and seemed to drive well. I am looking to copy his install to some degree with my 68. |

Cool beans! I know 20's are a popular choice and can look good on these trucks. Still wondering if anyone can tell me how these offsets will do on my truck. Anybody???????

Re: Quick wheel fitment ? 20x8.5's
my backspace on my 20X8.5's is 5.107" and i needed a 1.25" spacer on the rears. i think your backspace should work
