Tank size question
I assembling the parts to bag my blazer and I need to know what size air tank I need to run. I have a York so air supply should not be a problem. I don't want anything too big because I want to keep it all underneath the blazer. Should I run two smaller tanks or can I get away with one because I have tones of supply air available?

Re: Tank size question
My expirience has been to go with a 5 or 7 gallon which seem to have enough air to get a vehicle up to a suitable drive height from full. I have done 3 gal before on tight spaces but seem to have to lift one axle then wait for recovery to bump the other. With your York you have the CFM and quick recovery that the 3 gal would probably be ok but if I were in your position I would still go with 5 min and maybe more to have some "play" time. If space is real concern they make long skinny tanks in 3 and 5 gal that could be used in pairs on the frame rails under the bed or even the cab.
Josh PS Dino63 is using the Oasis compressor which is basically a york coupled to a DC motor so maybe he can chime in with his experience.

Re: Tank size question
I believe the recommendation is 2.5gal minimum per axle. So 2x 3gal tanks or 1x 5gal tank should cover you.
