350 Invader?
I have a 350ci "Invader" motor in my 71 gmc. I was told that its a special motor. I did some looking and found that some have a higher amount of nickle in the block, and i was told it might have 4 bolt mains. is this true? dose any one have the engine codes for these so that i can check my motor. Thanks

Re: 350 Invader?
just as special as every other 350 in a 69 - 72 GMC. 4 bolt mains were very common in these trucks, as were high nickle blocks.

Re: 350 Invader?
Most 69-72 were "010" cast 350's with high nickle and 4 bolt mains. Excellent for rebuild or performance. heads are marginal but when upgraded to vortec heads--easy 350hp. Huck
