My Dad sent me a pic of the '57 pic-up he's been working on. I'll get more pics when I get up to his place in February.

No Comments? I didn't call it a "Ratrod" like so many people call a flat black with red rims vehicle. Oh well, I think it's cool.

What kind of paint did he use. I am wanting that look for a while before I save up enough for a more expensive paint job. Looks nice.

Is it finished or is he still working on it? I can appreciate a rat. What does it have under the hood? Give us some more info.

I'm going to call him tonight, I will find out what he used and get back to you.

After he primes the door and adds the hubcaps to the back it will be finished. It has the original 235 6-cyl, bored 30, shaved head, stock cam, Fenton Split Exhaust Manifold, McGurk (3-single barrel carb) setup, stock rear, and a Saginaw 4-speed. I will get more pics and info in February.

Very nice truck. I would like to see some more pictures. Some of the engine and the front of it. Very nice.

Re: Dad's Project '57............

I like it. When i had my primed, slammed '71 Cheyenne i had alot of people ask "You're gonna leave it in primer aren't you?" My '58 will be primer. Most likely gray.
