Dash speakers.
Hey all,
What size are the speakers in the dash? I'm getting ready to put some tunes in my 83 and I want to make sure I get the right size. How about the stock back speakers? 4"x10"? I also found a pretty cherry stock Delco am/fm, cassette. But the knobs are missing. Does anyone carry those knobs? Thanks, jc

Re: Dash speakers.
I think the ones in the dash are 3.5"
There is a spot for a 4x10 in the center for those with only an AM radio. I believe this info is correct And yes, 4x10 in the rear brackets.

Re: Dash speakers.
i rplaced the 3.5s in my dash with a good set of rockford fosgates that fit well. compared to the old factory ones the sound 100%better. i know pioneer still makes 4x10s that are pretty decent. i think they go for around 129.00

Re: Dash speakers.
Go to crutchfield.com. Even if you don't buy from them, you get an easy idea of what's available at stock size, no modification.

Re: Dash speakers.
a few companies make 4x10's I found that memphis audio has some, which I love memphis stuff, kicker also makes some, I have them in my monte carlo and LOVE kicker stuff, also pioneer and kenwood does.
They run around $100 a set but I searched for the part number on yahoo like say kicker ks410 lowest or cheapest and found some cheap, like $60, went to cardomain and they price matched it to be cheaper and got em through them. If you got the time it's the way to go, and cardomain is a good reliable place to order from IMO, instead of theese companies on the net who hardly anyone knows.

Re: Dash speakers.
I have the stock back speaker brackets with speakers if anyone is interested. I just need to clean up the garage, so they are free to a good home.
