Re: aftermarket doors
I would grind the welds off of the window surround on the back of the door and slip it inside the door about 1/4" to 3/8" and see how it looks. The aftermarket doors have the most problems. But it is probably no confert to know that not all of the GM doors fit properly either. WES

Re: aftermarket doors
Your so right abot that. GMs sheet metal and gaps are mostly bad fit and finish. I or any other who has done this before would need a better picture of the gap all aound the door to better assist you. Having your front fender on as well would be good to.

Re: aftermarket doors
They can fit well, but take some work. As stated, you'll probably have to slice the weld at the top front corner of the door, trim it a hair, and reweld it. I know that sounds awful on a set of doors you just paid $500+ for, but they can fit well. Both of mine are aftermarket. Mine were close, so I used a metal file to take a hair off the top curve in the back. I had to be careful, the metal is thin and if you go too far it will split and you'll have to reweld it.
Also, install your fenders if they're not on already.
