under hood restoration complete!!

recently i posted a thread about restoring the engine compartment of my truck. now we are through.

here are some before, during, and after. a SPECIAL THANKS TO 71see10 for all of his help. As well as a thank you to his wife as well as mine for staying calm through the holidays while we spent countless hours in the shop making it happen!!!!!!! and a THANKS to billy, i dont know his last name. but he is very generous. He helped with the painting.

You keep on Chuck and it will be just too purdy to drive! You'll be afraid to take it out of the garage.

I'm glad it's not just this stinkin dial-up connection at work keeping me from seeing those last few.

Looking very nice, Chuckles.

Re: under hood restoration complete!!

Ok, I'm still not seeing all the pics so I'll see if I can help Chuckles out. I may not post all of what he wants or get em in the right order but I'll see what I can do.

Paint booth!

New booster.

Check out that new aluminum radiator tucked in there!

Re: under hood restoration complete!!

New looms. (not the fruit)

New puke can.

Fresh wires, new dipstick, billet proportioning valve.

New breather.

Under the hood got painted and bolted back on.

Cool throttle bracket.

Fresh filter.

Sweet total package!

Great job guys! It looks even better in person! I must admit I wasn't good for anything aside from some moral support and snapping just a very few of these pics. (Brian and Chuckles shot most of these photos)
