Problem locations
Just wondering what the usual locations for rust are on a blazer? IOW, if I were to go look at a blazer, what should I look out for?

East of the Mississippi just about everywhere but the hood.
 .Usually battery side of radiator support, lower front fenders, windshield frame, lower doors, cab supports, rocker boxes, bed sills, rocker panels, kick panels, fresh air vents, floorboards, lower tailgate, "A" pillar, "B" Pillar, inner fenderwell, firewall, and just about anywhere mud and water can get trapped.

Example:
Nice rust free AZ blazer for sale! So the add read. Looked good for the initial inspection too. That section alone required, *inner/outter rocker assemblies, kick panel and both lower 'A' and 'B' pillar sections. The good news though is that it's all repairable.

Just noticed your location.
I lived in Tempe back in the mid to late 80's, love AZ. Your in about the best spot possible to find something in great shape, without a doubt. Just look em over good, that's all. |

Yeah, AZ is good, but with Barrett Jackson held here in Scottsdale, people seem to think their vehicles will bring that type of price!
