We have not tried to stick ours on a burban yet.... I have had some guys bolt them onto blazers with little trouble but I am unsure about the burb.....

Tony, I talked to clint @ KP and he told me that with the body mount by the front spring mount was an issue from what I've seen of your product it will have the same problem. Thanks

Re: 73-87 suburban bolt in 4links????

Yeah there's a body mount on the outside of the frame in the area where the link bars would go. If you can go ahead and modify the body mounts, then you would be able to run our kit.

One of our local dealers is currently building a 73-89 Suburban with our suspension components. If you want more information before purchasing a kit, I can contact them and have them verify some specs for me.

Let me know.

If that's still the old body style like the 88-98 trucks, then yes we have. You can run our weld-on parallel 4 link, cantilever conversion kit, and an 88-98 cantilever kit out back. The rear cantilever will need to be welded to the frame rails as the bolt patterns are different and don't line up. Our local installed did on with the Tahoe on 22's and it looked awesome. He raised the tank up slightly, but did not modify the rear floor section. If you were to raise the tank up higher, and the floor section above it, then you could get the truck down that extra inch to safely lay frame, and not smash on the gas tank.

Hummmmm ????? When I was over at his place for Thanksgiving, all he could talk about was getting his hands on some of that dark meat.

Re: 73-87 suburban bolt in 4 links????

bolt on 4 link for 92-99 suburbans??
been looking into it, i think i could build rather easily, but i'm feeling lazy. Bolt whole patterns don't scare me near as much as welding all kinds of mount brackets to my frame and axel... any suggestions?
i was leaning towards a kit simular to AirBar, but since the frames all different in those trucks.. ask airride they will tell you..

Re: 73-87 suburban bolt in 4 links????

looks like this thread is all but dead...well hasn't been posted to in a long time. I'm in the process of bolting on a KP component's kit w/cantilever.. after talking to clint @ kp and sitting down with airride guys a show or three over the last two years i just went for it.

None of bolt holes line, but the frames (on 92-99) are close enough to work. We ended up flipping the four link mounts (more clearance) and adding a plate. I have some pics on the build thread...
