12" wide wheels with 4" lift ???????
Is anyone running 12" wide wheels on their 69-72 k10 with a 4" lift? I've got a buddy that's offering me a killer deal on some 15 x 12 Eagle wheels, but I don't know if they'll work or not, because I'm so far from getting sheet metal back on my truck.
If anyone has this setup or has a picture of a K10 on 12" wheels please let me know, because I'd hate to miss this deal. I'm almost tempted to buy them anyway and resell them. Thanks for the help.

Re: 15" x 12" wheels with 4" lift ???????
It should be fine with 33x12.5x15 tires. I have 35x12x15 on 15x12 wheels with a 4" suspension and 3" body. The tires clear by quite a bit.

I used to run 35'' Ground Hawgs on 12'' rims with a 4'' lift but I had to trim the front of the front fenders a little.

Here's the only pics I have right now, I'll see if I can get out to the barn & get some more of the tires & rims soon.

Thanks Orange. The more I see your blazer the more I love the look of those 12" wheels, especially with those MTR's.

Re: 15" x 12" wheels with 4" lift ???????
Here is an old pic of mine, at the time it had 15x14 welds (36s) with a 4" lift & 2" body lift and the old 1/2 ton drivetrain. The wheels worked pretty well, except on full lock. In a twist, I'd get a little rub. They were Very offset though.

We measured them and the backspacing is 3-5/8". So I'm good.

Those look more like 10" wheels.
Here's a reference pic of some 12" wide wheels. |

VTBLAZER ... When throwing money at your truck, remember to remove all that does not stick before driving it. Or send it to someone that could use it.
. . . Hey, you could send it to me.

Re: 15" x 12" wheels with 4" lift ???????
i agree becase when your runnin a wide rim with a narrow tire its so easy to knock your tire of the bead and ruin your tire especially when your going through some rocks or a steep side hill just from my experience but if you dont get to extreme you should be fine

Re: 15" x 12" wheels with 4" lift ???????
even a good side load on pavement can roll a bead pretty easily. something like having to swerve to miss a car that pulled out in front of you or something...
