I bought a few things from him some good, some bad.
I quit buying from him because of his items were not as he described them. His chrome jobs would have been better with some preparation. I.E don't chrome a piece of junk. In some strange way I almost feel sorry for him...almost.

yeah i called him about a swb frame, the CL listing did not give the greenville location it said dallas so i contacted him. when he started giving me directions to his place and he said lone oak i asked if he was james blanton and he said no. i said no thanks.

Yep. I noticed a sharp increase over the last month or so on Dallas Craigslist parts. Alot of 'Greenville TX' stuff showing up so I figured he's jammed himself up on e-bay now just like here on the board.

I have never had any dealings with him. I have had a great experience with acoolplacetoshop. I put a set of his restored gauges in my truck and they are excellent.

i had a bad ... i bought what was to be black visor hooks , well they were painted black ! and even i had the lovely op to sell to him . i sold a pair of engine brackets on ebay , he got the winning bid and wanted to know if i'd drop ship them to a customer in tn . i did but i gouged him a lttle on the shipping . his request , not mine . i ddnt have to drop ship to a third party .

I have spoken to him about some stuff and he told me to mail him a money order and then he would order the items I needed but the thing was that they would be shipped to him and not me. Of course we would have to meet later for the parts. Didnt sound right so I didnt go thru with it. Not sure if its the same guy but I have seen his stuff at swap meets and his email has a name of L Willis... ya let me know so I can be sure.

Not sure if its the same guy or not but on Jan 6 there was a swap meet out in Sumter County FL that I went to and there was a guy out there with 3 trailer loads of 60's and 70's truck and blazer parts. I talked to him about the prices of some things and he wanted 300 for a completely rotted tailgate. I told him no thanks that it was way too much and actually worse shape than mine- he started back tracking and saying well I can't take this stuff back to my guy out in Texas, just make me an offer. Got shaddier the more he talked. After reading this, wonder if "his guy" is this same guy? If so, sounds like he gets around.

Yea it is great, I got the fuel sending unit and gauge to work in unison finally. The two gauges were slightly different from each other.
