LMC order arrived today!!

My LMC order arrived today, its like christmas all over again!!!

I got all the parts I need for my cab so hopefully I can get that done soon. The following is a pic of the parts I got, unfortunately they shorted me on one rear cab support so you will only see one in the pic.

When I get my cab on the home made spit and out of the corner of my garage I will take some before, during, and after pictures!

Cory

Re: LMC order arrived today!!

Cory, you have taken the first step with pictures and new parts. Now the work begins, Start by adding some bracing to the cab to keep it square when the old floor and rockers are removed. This will make the re assembly so much smoother. Measure everything TWICE cut ONCE better to cut out to little than to much. Keep the photos comming.

Re: LMC order arrived today!!

If you don't mind me asking... how much was the shipping? Scott's Super Trucks in Penhold is pretty close to you. He just saved me $130 in shipping costs vs. LMC.

Re: LMC order arrived today!!

Wow I didn't notice you were in Calgary.Phone 1 800 462 2438 and Hugh will take care of you!I'm not saying they are the cheapest on everything, but they carry the best of the best. Not only that, but 95% of the time, you will have your parts the next day cuz they have a good stock of most of their parts!
If you get a chance, you should tour up to Penhold and check out their place. It's a real candystore with a great boneyard out back.Scott's halfton is one worth looking at too!(if you're going with a wood bed,ask for their instruction sheet for wood finishing as well).

Have fun with the project and keep us posted!

shipping was a rediculous $238 which was pretty expensive. I've heard of scott's super trucks before... now i remember, back when I worked for a chevy dealership in calgary, one of the autobody guys gave me his number, which i thought was pretty cool, cause it's 1-800-GMC-CHEV. I totally forgot about that and wish i would have remembered prior to ordering, because i know that would have saved a lot. I'm actually in Cranbrook, BC right now which is only about 3 and a half hours from calgary. I will remember that for my next order.... thanks guys!

Guess i should update my location durrrrrr.....

Cory
