If the grim reaper drove a 67-72 how would it look?
Just like the title says if the grim reaper drove a 67-72 what would it look like. I want some ideas for my 68 gmc because i want it to look sinister. I already have a gallon of shopline black acrylic enamel and i plan to run some sort of black rims but not sure what style yet. Its been lowered 3 inches in the front and 5 in the rear. What else should i do. I want it to be something that when i cruise through town in it people just stare like its something out of a horror movie. So lets get some ideas, pictures or even photoshop pictures and i'll see what else i can come up with for my build

Exhaust stacks out of the hood always look creepy to me.

Gloss black paint with a black vinyl top and chrome emblems like a hearse has would be different. You could even throw an old coffin in the back.

Re: If the grim reaper drove a 67-72 how would it look?
I'm not sure about the Grim reaper but the devil is in my 68. I swear it is enchanted with Dark forces but it looks like a regular truck. OK really I would think the Grim reaper would have some gray ghost flames or subdued skull or skeletons painted on a black truck with some dark tint. It would have to have a nasty mellow idle and probably red interior lighting with a skull and bones theme. probably some red under body lighting also. I don't know I'm just guessing here. Maybe a smoke machine under the bed (mine has that also but it just comes from the leaky valve stems seals). I'm feeling so creative now.

coffin handles down the side of the bed (chrome and wood), pillow interior panels w/ dark wood accents, a couple tulips on the tailgate (on top of the gloss black), mirror tinted windows, interior door handles and a shifter handle shaped like scyths (sp?) and a guest book holder that opens out of the ashtray.

Re: If the grim reaper drove a 67-72 how would it look?
I like the exhaust stack idea. I would also have to say ghost flames and or spirits in a ghosting style going down the sides or over the hood. Where the front markers on a 67-70 truck I would use red bulbs to give it the red eyes look behind a phantom grill.

I think a panel would look wicked done up in the style. For red accents try a simple pinstripe on the bead area of the wheels.

Needs to have a gun rack in the rear window for him to hang his grim reaper stick on while hes driving because he cant hold a Miller and bang through gears at the same time.....I know I cant.
