Door mounted speakers...wire placement?

I mounted a set of speakers in my doors with great covers...looks good but how have you guys run the wire from the cab into the doors? Mine arent connected yet waiting to see what works best.

I went to the salvage yard and got some accordian pleated rubber hose like things off of a later model truck. Used a hole saw on the kick panels all the way through the A pilar that was the correct size for the rubber and then used another size hole saw through the door and then ran the wires for my power windows and my speaker wires. I covered the kick panel hole with an aluminum plate that is removeable so if I need to run more wires later I can.
