Transmission ID Question

I need help with identifying the automatic transmission that can with my 67 chevelle ss 396. Here is what I know:

tag riveted to passengers side of of tranny has : 77 P 322
77 CP 22573

The only other markings are "general motors corp" casted on the passengers side at the bell housing base. The pan has turbo-hydromatic stamped on it has the shape for a th400.

On team chevelle site some think this could be a truck transmission. Can anyone please help me here?

Thanks
Larry

Re: Transmission ID Question

Its still a th400 if its in good working condition I would see a problem using it. Unless you want an numbers matching trans for a chevelle.
