tranny help please

help me out guys. got inline 6 250 I believe what are my options for an automatic tranny, what'll fit and bolt right up?

GM used the same bolt pattern for the v8 and the six. Which tranny will depend on what you want. If you want an overdrive, go with the 700r4. No OD, the TH350 is a good choice. Either tranny will give you good service.

These trucks were available wth the aluminum powerglide, which gave good service if not abused and maintained. But you are stuck with a 2 speed.
