Bumper finishing and chrome shops

I've slightly modified my bumpers and am looking for a place to send them to that can preform the final finish and polish work and then chrome them.

Anybody know of a place... or at least a price range?

I realize that most people on here just buy new bumpers, but I'm going for a certain look.

It would say about three times or more what a regular cost replacement bumper would. Chrome plating around is very expensive to get done. I would start getting local area quotes. Maybe some members here will know someone that has done some work for them.

Re: Bumper finishing and chrome shops

I took my front bumper and push bars to a local chrome shop. It was $300 for the job. Not cheap. He said the cost of the metals used has gone up. Took him about 2 months to get to the job. However, looks like brand new, no, better than new. He did a good job.

I was going to have him do the rear bumper, but he said step bumpers don't take the chrome around the step area, so he didn't do it. It's a shame too, because there is nothing wrong with the bumper.

Shows on Spike TV have used Pauls Chrome they have a web site. I'm sure their not cheap, but from what one of the other responders was talking about that wasn't cheap either and it took 2-3 months.
