Re: Posi for sale NOT MINE
NOS? I would think a lot more than $250 to $350... I see rebuilt posi units bringing that kind of money. I guess we'll see how much it goes for.

Re: Posi for sale NOT MINE
You can buy a brand new Auburn for $350 -$400 dollars. Just stay away from the gov-loc posi. They are total junk! I have blown up a number of them!

Re: Posi for sale NOT MINE
It's NOS but why? A posi is a posi and once the cover is on it then no one even knows. It is worth what any new posi is worth unless you buy it as a shelf piece. JMO

Re: Posi for sale NOT MINE
I disagree on a posi is a posi when it comes to the gov-locks! lol However; They do work well in the front axle of a 4 wheel drive.

Re: Posi for sale NOT MINE
I think he means that NOS and a rebuilt aren't that different.... it's not like it's an NOS tailgate vs. a Taiwan stamped one.
Is there anything inside a posi that would be "harmed" from not being in oil for 40 years? Like an NOS carb would need a rebuild just to use it, or an NOS fuel pump?
