69 I picked up a few months ago what ya think

69 that I picked up a few months ago.I didn't really need it but you know.I did a brake job and put in a new gas tank and been using it for a daily driver. It had ice cold air untill one of the hoses blew. Its got the hoses that just slip over the barbed male ends and clamp and I'm not sure where to find a new one.A few neat options: tach and speed warning but was fitted with a 350 cu in engine and a three on the tree.It came with all the origanal paper work from a to z and also a detailed maint. record the original owner kept untill he passed.Thought I would show it to someone that cared, no one around my place seems to.

Yes the PO must have started to replace them. They have been 98% cut out and there was two rockers laying in the bed.I plan on getting them in soon but I think it will turn into cab corners also. There is some bondo in the corners. The paint was buffed a little too much at one time and is very thin.I plan on taking care of the rockers and maybe cab corners and what ever else might show up and then putting a decent paint job on it .I plan on leaving pretty much original just preserve it and drive it.I'm building a 67 from ground up.I'll start a build thread on it a little later when I think I can make enough progress to keep the pictures coming.

Fixing that AC will be easy.
I'd toss the fabbed AC hoses and purchase a new set of hoses from one of the many suppliers who sell parts. I got a set from LMC for under $100 if I remember correctly.

You need the hoses, a new receiver drier (approximately $30-$40), and a buddy with an ac vacuum pump or a shop willing to recharge your system.

Also now would be a GREAT time to switch the system over to R-134a.

Read:
http://www.autoacforum.com/messagevi...&threadid=7567
for a description on how to make your POA work with R-134a.

Oh and nice truck.
