Removing bolts from rear end
I started taking trailing arms off today to change springs, and shocks, the lower spring bolt broke off and the ubolts are stuck in the trailing arm, any hints from anyone to get them out without turning the truck over and hitting with the biggest sledge I can find, truck is on jack stands so not much room under to swing anything big.

Re: Removing bolts from rear end
I replaced my trailing arms recently, and had trouble getting the nuts on the ubolts loose. Had a torch avaiable, and got the nuts to unscrew. After that I drove a pry bar between the arm and the rear end. worked like hell, and did not give up and they came off. Might suggest trying to drive some king of wedge between arm and rear, lots of wd-40 and go at it.............

Re: Removing bolts from rear end
I used an angle grinder cut the bolt between the axle tube and the trailing arm, had the bolts (what was left of them) pressed out at the same time we pressed in the control arm bushings.
When I reassembled it I used anti seeze in the hole so that should not happen again
