Thumbs up Re: Lighting...

I've got these on my truck there from LMC Truck but they don't have that small blue lamp in the bottom of them. Not sure what there suppose to do?

Aslo the LMC unit's use a different lamp that has an O-ring seal to prevent moisture in the lamp housing and a weather-pac plug instead of the one you have shown in the 2nd link and the houshing/reflector is real Aluminum and glass lens. i don't know what thoes other one are made of.

If i were you i'd stay away from the projector unit and go check out the unit's LMC Truck offers.

The tail's look good.

Re: Lighting...

Go with the LMC headlights. I used the 7" round headlight but I imagine the square headlights are the same. The LMC version has a glass lense and a cast aluminum housing. Very high quality, great light output, and they look very good on the truck. The price was right too.

Avoid any of those ones you see on ebay or the web that have the blue light. They are low quality.

Re: Lighting...

I agree with the others on the LMC head lights, I bought a set of those plastic crap ones from Advance Auto parts (APC brand) for my Jeep. Within a week the glue holding the plastic lens to the back cone part turned brown and gave the lens a dirty gold tint.

I took that crap back and bought a set of Sylvania Silverstars and wired them to relays, Now those suckers are bright !

Re: Lighting...

I actually like the lights. First set I've seen that I like...

The first set of lights look like a set that my friend Tommy and I were going to do for my truck. I'll bet that they will work better than the others.

Yeah there chrome i got them from LMC when i got the light's there real nice quality and really change to whole look of the front end.

That pic was taken the day i installed every thing and it was really overcast and started raining a few min's later so the pic dosent really show the chrome all that well.
