I am looking for power seats that have a minimum seat hieght of 9" or 10" to make it easier to get in (I use a wheelchair) to my 72. The seats in my 2000 Jimmy go from 9"-13" and would work well. Does anyone know where I could find adjustable seats in this range?

I took a set from a '98 extended cab GMC and although these dont have full power, they fit just perfect. Mine have power lumbar supports but the movement is manual. They do make full power I know ( I just didnt spend the extra)

a buddy of mine has a set of power bucket seats out of a gran prix. think those will fit?

Delux Chrysler cars have a lot of up/down travel, the electric ones, but you'd have to mount them on pedalstals.

Hey Zkast did you have to make any modifications to the brackets at all ??? That's a nice setup you have there

Thanks everyone. Looks like I will need to keep an eye on Ebay. If I find non powers s10 seats I may swap with my Jimmy. Chrysler and Granpix may be harder to find..... I will look.

The only thing I had to make was a 4" spacer (from 1/2 square stock) for the middle track. The front 2 bolts use the exact same bolts from the old seats. Rear track mounts have to be drilled. Took less than a hour to install. They ride perfect!!!!! Very nice, simple install. I've already bought another set for the '72 I bought recently.
