New guy thinks he has a C20 Longhorn
Hello to all! Thanks for letting me "in"!
I think this because it has 8 leaf springs, versus the coil springs of a vanilla C20. Is that true and what else should I look for? How many of these were made in my year of 1969? -other info: it has the C20 and Longhorn emblems VIN#CE24 BLOCK#221TFD 4 ON-THE-FLOOR (I CALL IT THE "STUMP-PULLER") wood-slat bed with the extra bed extension bench seats-bare bone "Spartan" interior 3 gas tanks and external elec hook-up heavy duty rear bumper with hitch hook up I think the rear end is a 410-how do I confirm? Thanks in advance |

The bed would have a line 6" from the front of the bed (where the extra length was added). Welcome to the board from South Mississippi!

Re: New guy thinks he has a C20 Longhorn
As stated by others, the six inch extension on the front of the bed is a give away.....got any pics? Longhorn Man is a good one to ask if you have any questions about longhorns. He used to have a website link on his profile that was very informative and it included the number of longhorns built in each year but it's not there now. I think it was around 3500? Anyway, welcome to the board from SC.
