Brake Switch ?
I just put front disc brakes on my truck and was wondering how to hook up the switch that goes to the proportional valve. Also where is the switch that makes brake warning light come on in the dash panel for standard drum brakes?
Thanks, Dave

Re: Brake Switch ?
I think, could be wrong, the wire on the proportional valve goes to a low brake fluid light. The brake light switch on my 67 is right behind the peddle, pain in the a$$ to get to

Quote:
If you did not use a newer disc brake master cylinder and p-valve you may not get enough fluid volume to the front brakes and the rears may lock up before the fronts.

Re: Brake Switch ?
The tan wire that was hooked to your old prop valve should be hooked to the new one.and the rear brake light switch is on the pedal under the dash

Re: Brake Switch ?
I found the wire, it was under the wiring gutter on firewall.Where can I get the connector and pigtail that plugs into the newer type prop valve for brake warning light?

Re: Brake Switch ?
Just got back from the junkyard and got two for $5.00. The one from Performance Online is the same except the two I got are 90 degree at the top.
Thanks for all the help everyone, Dave
