Throttle linkage clip

I just put everything back together after doing the headgasket on my 1998 chev 350. I have on clip left over and not sure what it hooks up to. I believe I have it in the correct place just cannot figure out what attaches to it. here are two pictures to show what I am talking about. the first picture show the clip and the second show it at the bottom of the picture. Is it supposed to hook onto the second cable (cruise control I think)?

thanks

Re: Throttle linkage clip

It looks like yours is broke. I have included a pic. I didn't trace the wire, but if I remember correctly, it holds the wires going down behind the alt to the crank sensor and a ground.

Thanks VERY much for the reply and pictures. I was really worried I had missed something important. Now I just don't give a damn, not holding a wiring loom in place it NOT a concern.

Thanks again
