Still looking for a couple of items ....

I need the mechanical oil pressure gauge tube, the section that goes from a v8 engine to the coupler in the engine compartment. I am also looking for a set of 1.5 or 2" rear lowering blocks for a coil sprung truck. A good used or new headlight switch, and the seat adjuster knob for a 71 bench seat. Please reply here with your price including shipping to 97051. Thanks guys.....

Bill

Re: Looking for a couple of items....

I've considered using a 2x2 inch box steel with a longer u-bolt for that drop

yep, thats all you need! 2" x 2" x 6.5" piece of heavy wall box tubing. Should run $10. Pop (2) .875" dia holes in them. viola.

Then, go to a big rig shop and get some 10" long, 3/4" round stock, by 3.5" inside leg to leg u-bolts bent. Cost $27.

Re: Looking for a couple of items....

Unfortunately, I dont have the time or equipment to make a set. Now I'm not against buying a good home brew set, that is, if anybody happens to have a set laying around.....

Re: Looking for a couple of items....

screaminc10 the only part i came up with is the bench seat knob. sounds like randy can fix you up. if he has all the parts it will save you on shipping.

TTT, Billsbowtie, you still got that knob?

Does anybody have a set of lowering blocks they would like to part with?
