are 2wd and 4wd columns the same?

I think the column is probably the same, but the box is different. I don't know for sure.

As far as I know. The steering box is definitely different.

the box is different, But i need to know if I can take a steering column out of a 2wd suburban and put it in my 4wd blazer.
