New Guy here in Springfield, MO

Hello everybody, I am happy to have found this place! It looks like a good new home for me! I knew there was a place for people who love these trucks as much as me and my family. I finally found and bought a nice 72 shortbed, I have lots of plans for it, and just bought a 360 short block earlier this week to build for it. My brother had a 69' swb when I was younger, I have wanted one of my own since I first laid eyes on it, he had to sell it during some hard times, but is looking for another now, our dad has a 67' GMC swb with a 468 big block now as well. Looking forward to getting to know you all, and I cant wait to look at some more trucks on here! LOTS of nice ones on here. Also I saw a bunch of pics of missouri trucks and a meet, I would like to have info on the next one if anyone can help? Thanks and hope to meet some people!

Welcome from the Pacific N.W. This is a great site and most everybody is a like minded Chevy/GMC truck-nut, so you've come to the right place. When you get a chance post up some pics of your '72- we'd love to see 'em. Also, your Pappy's '67 sounds killer- I'm sure there are plenty who wouln't mind checking that out too!

Welcome,

I see there are a lot of you fella's from Springfield. Do any of y'all go to the Car Show in Eureka Springs, in Sept.? A group of us guys from East Tx will making the journey this year. Hope to meet some of y'all while we're there.

And yes, you have found the best source of info for our trucks available anywhere.
