Shop Pictures

How about sharing some photos of your shop? Here are a few of my shop. I only work on 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks, but I also do woodworking and commercial general contracting, so my trucks are always fighting for shop space with my construction company.

That's one nice shop! looks like you have more parts on those shelves than our local parts store! I gotta ask why don't you mess w/63's?

Re: Shop Pictures

Thats a great looking shop! I have a 45x99 Morton building that I want to turn into a shop. It has a stone floor and in is not insulated. Big bucks to transform it into a workable shop.

Man, I could put my house and shop in your garage and still have a block party!

Re: Shop Pictures

nhtc33d:

I specialize in 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks and although many parts are interchangeable between the '60-'63 and the '64-'66 Chevy Trucks, I have tried to be model specific, due to the limited space, resources and finances it takes to cover several years, makes & models. I do provide some '60-'63 Chevy Truck stuff, but my favorite are the 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks, because I drove then through high school and college...started collecting them several years ago and accumulated lots of parts inventory over the years.

Re: Shop Pictures

the more I deal with 60-3 vs 64-6interchange, the more I notice that is different from the early trucks.
really only the box and front clip will interchange... there is alot more different than I thought.
I have a 65 parts truck for my 60, and so far I have only been able to use one part!

Re: Shop Pictures

My 66 won't fit into my typical English size garage. Too narrow and too short! I keep tools and spares in there but the truck won't fit!!

Is your truck a right hand drive? It is super easy to convert over to a right hand drive.

My friend has. He used a power steering gear box out of a s-10. Completed the conversion in a weekend.

Re: Shop Pictures

Right-hand drive was available in the '60-'66 Chevy trucks from the factory. I don't have the photos of one, but I have seen them.

Re: Shop Pictures

Here are some pics of my shop. I build cabinets for a living, so my truck gets a little corner for parts. The " parts section" is kind messy!! I'm going to try to add on to my shop this year just for my truck.

Re: Shop Pictures

I don't have much of a shop. Here's where mine lives.

Here's a picture of a reflection of the truck when my car was in the garage. That counts for something, right?
