3rd brake lights?
Hey guys im looking to put a 3rd brake light on my 67 small back window.What u think fits best? i will upgrade to LED lights too.

you can stick a late model unit over the glass, but IMO it always looked like a cheesey add on. I think the best bet, would be to cut a slit, maybe 2 slits horizontally stacked on top of each other, or maybe 3, a short, then long, then short... then put an LED lamp... like an oval truck-lite assembly on the back side of the sheet metal and epoxy it in place. that would bive it a smooth look from the outside.

i think i might try a led mod in my cargo lamp, looked at a socket style with a 1156 or 1157 bulb but i think space is tight. 463
