timing

i know their is alot of timing threads on here, sorry for making another one it can be deleted after i get a reply.

anyways i was just wondering if this timing is ok.

my 383 seems to be runing great set at 10degree initial and 40degees total at 3000rpm.

May want to watch out for pinging and maybe carbon deposits (keeps running when shut off). Also, monitor your gas mileage to see if there are any major changes. Other wise, you're okay.

From what I heard in the past, some of these old trucks have had so many changes by po's that you can't go with stock adjustments on the harmonic balancers.
