Finding interior paint

What I'm looking for is the dark olive paint(semi-gloss/satin) that they spray between the dash pad and the windshield. LMC sells a vinyl paint but I'm not sure that will stick to metal...any thought or recommendations.

Thanks

Re: Finding interior paint

I painted the interior and exterior with bc/cc. On the area of the dash between the pad & windshield, I sprayed the base coat and bought a pint of matte finish clear coat and sprayed it. I was very satisfied with the results. The color matches and the finish is matte, almost a flat finish. You can actually mix the gloss clear and the matte clear and come up with your own finish, anything from flat to eggshell to semi-gloss, etc. If you do not want to go that route and you're using single stage paint, you can buy a flattening agent to mix in the paint and it will give you the same effect. I believe Eastwood and other rattle can suppliers sell a matte finish clear in the spray can. Hope this helps.

Re: Finding interior paint

That's what I thought until I visited a paint store and they said that they could not make it in a satin or flat....that info could be wrong. If any one has been able to get it, I would like to know what to tell them. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I lke the single stage idea, I'll go to a differnt paint shop and see if they can add a flattening agent. I'm trying to make it as simple as possible.
