Clutch Replacement 1997 4.3
I have:
1997 c1500 Cheyenne 4.3L, 5spd with a clutch that is about to go. I've helped my buddy swap a couple clutches before and generally know what's involved (or think I do enough to give'r a go). Is there anything on these trucks I need to watch out for? are there any good specific online resources (pics?). Anybody out there have a digital copy of the dealer service procedure? Thanks. |

Parts I cannot help you with.
Changing the clutch was pretty straight forward on my 92. I don't remember anything really special, but it's been 10 years since I did one. I will say I change the slave cylinder on the clutch when I did it and I think (old age setting in) I just did it because I was there and felt it easier to do it then.
