1979 gmc
I bought a gmc last year and i been checking this forums on and off.
I'm in the process of dopping it. I already started the front. But working two jobs is not giving time to finish....I will post pix later... |

Thanks for the welcome... the truck is being lowered with belltech 3" spindles and 2" coil springs rear is 6" flip kit from belltech also... |

Looks like a solid truck and a good start for a project. If you do drop it that low make sure you replace the shocks with the "lowered" versions and run a 255 or less on the front wheels. I think a altitude adjustment and a set of BFGs would be nice on that ride.
Just FYI I lowered my '80 the spare tire carrier bolt started making contact with the pavement on small inclines and some speed bumps so if while you are under there installing the flip kit you might want to cut an inch or so off the end of the bolt OR remove the carrier assembly completely.
