question about stainless underbed gas tanks
Hi,
I am putting in a stainless underbed gas tank in my 1968 chev 2wd. Can anyone give me feedback on whether to use the one from brothers or the one from no limit. Looking for recomendations on the pros and cons of each. Thanks Tom |

Haven't heard of a stainless tank. I'd ask who the manufacturer is. They're probably one and the same

I've got a No Limit tank, but it's aluminum, didn't know they made a stainless unit... anyway, I'm very happy with the tank, easy install and the VDO sender works well with the stock fuel guage... don't know anything good or bad about the brothers tank...

Hey Vinnie, What do you guesstimate on the guage thickness on the walls? I'm just wondering about stress cracks and such. My tank in my 70 K5 has them all over but it's the original

pretty beefy construction, probably at least 16 ga.... maybe thicker.... seems to be a very well made tank, has 2 baffles, tucks very nicely under the frame.
