Radiator Core Supports
OK, how many different radiator core supports are there for these trucks? The LMC catalog lists two...
39-9572-T fits all 88-95, 96-98 4.3, and 96-98 5.0 with 100A alternator. 39-9573-T fits all 96-98 5.7,6.5,7.4, and 96-98 5.0 with 140A alternator. Sounds simple enough, but when I went to a local yard yesterday, they tell me that the headlights also make a difference. I don't know what support I have, but it does still have a driver side headlight attached- it is the large square one (single headlights each side). I want to go with the smaller dual sealed beams on each side. LMC says it's the same core, but the local yard says it isn't. What do you guys think?

Re: Radiator Core Supports
Its the same the newer lights bolt to the 4 mounting holes.I changed my 88 from a W/T to a 98 silverado to an Escalade front without changeng my rad suport. You will need to trim some at the top for the head light adjustment scews that stick up.
