Post 72 gmc seirra 402bb w/air swb fleetside

I went to look at this truck wednesday and looks good all emblems engine runs good ac is cold looks like original owner lived on dirt road frame a clay color but no undercoat looks like LR and RR cab only bondo I could find paint is gone looks like someone painted and crossed primer brand with another paint brand dry lake bed effect.My question what is a good price? And anything else I need to look for? I did check the vin so it is original as far as engine and auto trans.

What ever your willing to pay is the price you have to set as good price... seller didnt have price? Sounds like a decently packaged truck... kinda rare I'd say. I'd go back and make an offer soon. It will sell.

he is asking $5500 and said pretty firm.How could I find out how much it is worth in presteen condition?

Those original BB short bed trucks are fetching pretty high prices but 5k seems a little steep when bondo is visible. There's probably much more hidden so be wary. I know the GMC guys/gals will flinch but the GMC shorties go for a little less if you compare them to the Chevy version. Seems more people prefer the chevy grill to the GMC so prices reflect.
