I am going to sell

I will be listing this one on Ebay in a week or two . Is it worth between $6500and $7000 ? It is rust free and runs like a top. These are older pics . It has a factory grille now .Frank

Re: I am going to sell

Personally I don't think eBay would be good for your truck, maybe autotrader or traderonline.com would get a little more money outta it. I have been watching a bunch of trucks not meeting the reserve here lately on eBay. With the cheap listing fees they have been having it would be good exposure. Kudos on a very nice truck, it is definately one of my favorites.

Wow frank surprised your getting rid of that one. Then again you have a nack for finding the cleanest trucks around. Good luck with the sale!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: I am going to sell

This one is just so nice I dont want to redo what doesnt need redone if that makes sense . I am just waiting on my camshaft and I will put the new 350 in the Blue longbed . I also have the 2.5 inch spindles , 4 inch rear leafs , and my 18x10 rear TT2's just came in .I really thought about putting it all on this truck but it doesnt really need it . The 77 long bed has something about it that I want to fix it up . I may even sell the 77 454 truck I just bought a couple months back . I am going to try to concentrate on one or I think I may never get one completed . I guess I realize I have too many . My dad wants the 87 3/4 ton so I may let him have it . That way it isnt too far away and will come home again in the future . I have been moving some stuff that I have in the garage on Ebay lately getting ready to start working on the 77 long bed . Frank

Re: I am going to sell

what a beauty that truck is... wish I had a garage big enough to store all the trucks I'd like to buy!

I would hope that it would bring $7,000. If it doesn't, I say keep it... not like it would loose value.

Re: I am going to sell

Seems like you're in the range to me, but this answer always varies with region. Also, in order to target "restoration" buyers, you could try hemmings.com and/or oldcarsweekly.com (I prefer the print version of Old Cars Weekly.)

That is a great truck and it looks like she's idling nicely at 750. (Gotta love the tach dash.)

Good luck-

-Todd

Re: I am going to sell

Frank, I think you need to bolt those TT II's on it and look again.

Re: I am going to sell

Keep it and bolt the stuff on it. Keep all of it so you can return it back. If you sold it to Ken he wouldn't think twice to tear into it..
